HOW TO AFFILIATE YOUR GROUP OR CLUB

   

The following notes outline the requirements for affiliation of your group or club to the O.M.A.A

   
   
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
   
1. The Chief Instructor or Principal or the Executive of any group or club applying for affiliation must ensure that once accepted:
   
a)

Every member, whether instructor or student MUST purchase a current OMAA licence.  See price list.

   
b)

Note for overseas members: Only a U.K. member licence includes insurance cover.

   
c) Any instructors that teach MUST have valid Professional Indemnity Insurance cover.
   

2.      

 

All annual licences and insurance MUST be renewed on time (licence applications received after 25th of the month will be carried over to the next month).  Any claims made against any instructor, club or group whatsoever will be entirely their own responsibility.  The O.M.A.A. cannot be held responsible for any claims or liabilities whatsoever.
   

3.      

All member groups/clubs must conform to the O.M.A.A. requirements as outlined on the pages of this website at all times.  
   

4.      

 

All member groups or clubs must run their own affairs in a caring and ethical manner, promoting safety and excellence for their members.  They must conform to a training programme which allows their members continued progression and equal opportunities (copy of syllabus to O.M.A.A. on request).
   

5.      

 

The Principal or the Executive of any member groups or clubs are totally responsible for all of their own finances, insurance and safety standards.  The O.M.A.A. cannot be held in any way responsible for any member groups or clubs actions or negligence whatsoever.
   

6.      

No member shall hold a bank account in the name of the O.M.A.A. nor shall they purport to represent the O.M.A.A. on any financial or legal matter whatsoever.
   

7.      

All items and services supplied by the O.M.A.A. shall be paid for prior to supply.  All artwork, copy, items etc. of the O.M.A.A. are strictly copyright.
   
8. The O.M.A.A. Executive reserves the right to change rules, items, prices etc., without notice.  All findings of the O.M.A.A. Executive shall be final and binding.
   
9. The O.M.A.A. will deal only with the Principal / Chief Instructor of the club or group that is applying for membership. in confidence,
   
   
If you are interested in becoming members of the O.M.A.A. and want your status and the status of your students to be recognised, if you can run your own organisation in a safe, ethical and professional manner, if you can adhere to our “Rules and Code of Practice” then complete the required application request and return it by e-mail or post.

 

 

APPLICATION REQUEST
