The fundamental techniques of Shinseido

The fundamental techniques of Shinseido represent the building blocks of the system.  There are a great many different techniques, but all can be placed into categories representing techniques with certain common characteristics such as those which provide much the same muscle memory.  I have taken trouble to choose a group of techniques that stand representative of all the techniques in our system.  In other words, if you learn the following techniques to a high level of competence, you will not have a problem in learning any additional one's that come your way.
It could be argued that the list can be reduced, and I would be obliged to agree.  However, I have allowed a few additional techniques, in order to establish a strong foundation and framework of future reference.

There are eighteen techniques arranged into six groups of three.  Aim to learn the shape of one set every week, after that you can practise it to a level of competence and speed.
